At 11:06 am on 28 November 2023, the new line of the Chengdu-Zhenjiangguan section of the Sichuan-Qinghai Railway started operation, providing a faster way to reach Jiuzhaigou National Park in the Aba Tibetan Qiang Autonomous Prefecture from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province.

This new high-speed train has ten stations from Chengdu East Railway Station, namely Qingbaijiangdong, Sanxingdui, Shifangxi, Mianzhunan, Anzhou, Gaochuan, Maoxian, Shidaguan, Diexi and Zhenjiangguan (the nearest to Jiuzhaigou).

JIUZHAIGOU NATIONAL PARK

Jiuzhaigou National Park is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It has a total area of 65,074.7 hectares and is more than 400 kilometers away from Chengdu. Its forest coverage rate exceeds 80%, with 38 species of vines and 74 species of nationally protected rare plants. There are 122 species of terrestrial vertebrates, including 21 species of mammals, 93 species of birds, 4 species of reptiles, and 4 species of amphibians. Jiuzhaigou Valley is a world natural heritage, a national key scenic spot, a national AAAAA tourist attraction, a national nature reserve, a national geological park, and a world biosphere reserve network. It is also China's first nature reserve with the main purpose of protecting natural scenery.

HUANGLONG NATIONAL PARK

Huanglong National Park is located in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is the only well-protected plateau wetland in China, located on a ridge that gradually rises from south to north. Huanglong National Park covers an area of ​​700 square kilometers, 100 kilometers away from Jiuzhaigou Valley, and has an altitude of 1,700 to 5,588 meters. The core area is dotted with more than three thousand pots. The main scenery is the surface travertine landscape with ingenious structure and rich colors. The main landscape concentrated in Huanglong National Park is about 3.6 kilometers long, covered with carbonate travertine deposits, and is rich in animal and plant resources.  In 1992, Huanglong Scenic Area was included in the World Natural Heritage List. It is a national AAAAA tourist attraction and a national key scenic spot.
